As we come to the end of January, we are reflecting on how well the start of 2022 has been for us. January can often be associated with the January Blues, failed resolutions and being a long month. Thankfully, we have not experienced many of these (so far!).
We have been lucky enough to have played some wonderful corporate events this month – a Masquerade Ball in The Guildhall was a particular high light. We dressed up in our black-tie finery and wore some amazing masks. We had so much fun playing as a quartet and enjoyed each other’s company, whilst playing for a fantastic group of people. Extending the Christmas party season into January is such a good idea, it gives everyone something to look forward to.
January weddings are such a lovely occasion, they certainly lift the spirits in what would normally be a challenging month, certainly no Blue Monday when a wedding is on. Playing at the Church of St Laurence was wonderful, the bells rang out, which was a real treat for us to be able to watch and listen to.
Just to top off the month, we received Regionally Highly Commended at The Wedding Industry Awards. We are absolutely delighted for our String Quartet to be recognised as one of the best in the West Midlands region and hugely grateful to our past clients who took the time to vote for us.
As we now enter February we are looking forward to a year of full of music, weddings, corporate events, string music, learning new music and performing just for you.
