The Capriccio String Quartet were wonderful to work with. They were accommodating of every logistical challenge, arriving in a single car due to parking restrictions at the Oxford Botanic Garden, and performing beautifully on a sweltering heatwave day. Their repertoire spans pop to classical, and we chose our personal favourites for the drinks reception. Walking in from the church to their music set the scene perfectly. So many guests commented on the beautiful ambiance they created!!

We engaged Capriccio String Quartet for our wedding in March 2026. at Water’s Edge at Ewen. From the first point of contact the communication flowed and all queries were responded to promptly. The group has an impressive repertoire and we selected a mix of classical and contemporary pieces. The music was beautifully played and kept all of our guests entertained pre and post ceremony, until we went in to our wedding breakfast. Their presence made our day extra special and our guests are still commenting on it now. We cannot recommend Carpriccio Quartet highly enough.. our big day would not have been the same without them.

We had Capriccio to play at Broadfield for the first time yesterday and were so impressed, both by their beautiful music but also by the quartet themselves and what lovely people they are. They played so wonderfully for one of our couples' wedding ceremonies, as well as playing as guests arrived, creating a magical atmosphere in our woodland. Yes, the fantastic reviews are fully justified. We had the great pleasure of having the Capriccio Quartet performing at our wedding at Hampton Court Castle this year. They played several classical pieces during the ceremony, bringing floods of tears out of everyone, and we were especially impressed with their fantastic job accompanying the hymn 'Jerusalem' as the chapel didn't have an organ! We selected some pop songs from their extensive repertoire for the drinks reception, and these were performed perfectly and several guests told us how much they had enjoyed the music. Further to their performance on the day, the process of booking and organising what we wanted was easy and reassuring. Lynette stayed in touch with us and always replied promptly to any queries. This is exactly what we wanted to minimise pre-wedding stress! Thank you to all those at Capriccio Quartet for providing some of the highlights and most emotionally resonant moments of our wedding. Capriccio played at our ceremony and wedding reception at Birtsmorton Court and they were absolutely incredible! Their ability to take modern songs and make them sound so classic is unbelievable and we had all of our guests commenting on how they made the day so special.
