ANDREW PATTEN
Violin

Andrew started the violin at the age of 7 and won a music scholarship to Westminster School when he was 12. He went to Edinburgh University where he led the University Chamber Orchestra for 4 years. The orchestra performed annually at the Festival Fringe and undertook successful tours of Scotland, the Lake District, Southern Ireland and Cornwall while he was there.  

Andrew lives locally and plays regularly in chamber music groups and the Malvern based Chandos Symphony Orchestra. Andrew's violin dates from 1710 and comes from the acclaimed early English school.
